That if you confess with your mouth,"Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

 At the time Rev. Jones was called to Pastor New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church it only consisted of five women and two men. He was installed in January of 1980 and since that time, God has blessed New Jerusalem abundantly. Pastor Jones has served with and over abundance of love, humility, humbleness, righteousness, and the Spirit of God. Under Pastor Jones's leadership, Bible study and Prayer service has been implemented. Pastor Jones teaches that there are things greatly if a church is to prosper. Along with many members being added, under his leadership the following ministries have been added: Deacons Ministry; Trustee Ministry; Mother Board; Pastor's Aide Ministry; Nurses Guild Ministry; Youth Ministry; and Building Fund Ministry.  

    Rev. Jones is a man of great faith.  In addition, he is a well sought revival preacher.  Rev Jones leads New Jerusalem with a shepherd's heart.  He cares about the welfare of every member.  New Jerusalem is proud to have a pastor who serves with humility, teaches and preaches the word of God, and lives a life of holiness and example.
